From my first visit to the Pacific Northwest coast of Canada in 2012, I was instantly captivated by its unique magnetism, from the mesmerizing marine wildlife to the coastal mountains and the fog-covered, lush rainforests.
I moved to British Columbia in late 2016, just when the Instagram trends for the Pacific Northwest began to fade. During my early years in British Columbia, I explored coves, bays, and hidden marinas in search of the elusive black fin. For me, the trend never faded simply because it wasn't a trend. Nine years later, I am still deeply in love with this region.
