During my journey across Canada from Ontario to British Columbia, I drove through Manitoba and Saskatchewan and discovered that the prairies are more than simply endless flatlands. Amid vast fields, canyons, gentle hills, and grazing areas, I encountered a landscape characterized by simplicity and unexpected contours.
I later rediscovered these beautiful features when I lived for a year in Calgary, a vibrant hub between the mountains and the prairies.
