365 days with the 2021 Apple MacBook Pro 16” M1 Max

A year ago today, Christmas came early in a rectangular shape branded UPS. Inside was the latest addition to the Apple family, A silver 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max with a breathtaking 16” display. It was a pleasant surprise to receive it before my trip to France, as stocks were incredibly low from the release date. On top of that, I had made a custom order which required additional time.

Like many users, my Mac is my primary work tool. All my video and photo editing are done on a Mac, and everything else when it comes to starting and running an independent media production company. I generally update my Mac every 3 to 4 years. I upgraded from a 2017 MacBook Pro 15” with Touch-bar and equipped with the seventh generation of Intel (Kaby Lake), 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD.
